David Miko is a Freelance Creative Director based in Norwich, UK.

Hello! My name is David and I am a creative director providing film, photography and wider digital media solutions in East Midlands and beyond, nice to meet you! I have long been passionate about photography, when as a teenager, I focused on wildlife, landscape, and macro photography. In 2016, I turned this passion into occupation and began taking on occasional commissions for event photography. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that paradoxically really kicked things off for me as I began providing live streams of a wide variety of events alongside Norwich Live Streaming (Tile Media Ltd). Now with Covid restrictions long behind us, I have been able to focus more on helping people tell their stories through engaging visual content.

In my film and photography, I pride myself on my focus on natural looks and aesthetically pleasing details, always aiming to capture the beauty of the natural world and bringing out the unique character of my subjects. This leads to creating portraits that convey emotion and where the sitter feels represented for who they really are. In event settings, I aim for a very natural, non-staged candid approach, although I have equally enjoyed working in the studio with some of my clients.

I aim to understand what my clients really look for, aiming to unlock the specific outcomes they are looking for from our collaboration and how I can help them. Something that is very important to me is working together with clients to make them part of the creative process and achieve the vision they seek.
